this morning we got up and had our quiet time on the hillside.

then we swam in the pool and ate figs fresh picked from the trees.

then, sadly, we had to pack up and leave that lovely place.

we drove to the small town of montecatini and checked into our hotel. then we walked out and found a place to eat pizza.

we took an afternoon nap and then went back out around 10 pm.

the towns come to life at night.

it was a festive atmosphere.

we ate gelato and went into a few shops where we bought a few souvenirs for people at home.
