this was a big day!
this morning we went through the vatican museums.
it was incredibly crowded.
the sistine chapel was breathtaking.
we ate our pbj's in st. peter's square, then went into st. peter's basilica.
gorgeous! except for the dead popes in glass cases.
kinda creepy.
then we went to the colosseum.
it was amazing standing inside and imagining what it was like in rome's glory days.
