today we left krystal's and drove to florence.

we did a little shopping in florence, ate our peanut butter and fig jelly sandwiches and looked, crossed the arno and looked at some cool buildings.

then we went on to our lodging about 20 miles south of florence.

we are staying tonight in the most AMAZING medieval tower.

yes, we have our own tower rooftop complete with a hammock.

nellie fixed our pasta and tuna supper (it would only taste good in a medieval tower) and ate it outside as the sun set.

then we went up to our rooftop and laid there watching shooting stars and talking and giggling.

so good. :)
